Collingwood Basketball Association has Senior Domestic competitions on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday nights. Games are played at either Collingwood College stadium or Bundha Sports Centre.
The Autumn 2026 Senior Men’s Competition season commenced on Sunday 1 February and Monday 2 February 2026, starting with 4 rounds of grading and ending with 2 weeks of finals in May 2026. Grand finals will be held on Sunday 31 May and Monday 1 June 2026.
Registration is now closed for the Autumn 2026 Sunday and Monday Men’s competition.
The upcoming (Spring 2026) season will include the following competitions and grades:
Sunday night – Men’s Division 1, 2, 3 and 4
Monday night – Men’s Premier Division (3 referees and shot clock), plus Divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Senior Women’s Domestic Competition
Winter season starts 21st April 2026. Register now!
Tuesday nights at Bundha Sports Centre on Level 2, Courts 2 & 3 from 7pm to 9:15pm
Collingwood Basketball Association was able to attain a fund by the Australian Government’s Play Our Way grant, to increase female participants to begin or return to basketball from 13 years and up. This FREE competition is open to female-identifying and gender-diverse participants. The grant is called Girls and Women’s Pathways (GWP). Each player needs to separately register for an Annual Participant Licence with Basketball Victoria. This fee is $43 for adults, $29 for under 18 – payable by each player when they register to your team (if they are not already currently registered with BV; the licence lasts for 365 days and covers all competitions in Victoria).

When you enter your team as the team organiser, using one of the above links, you will first be asked to register or login as a user of PlayHQ (Basketball Victoria’s registration portal); there is no cost to this but you will need to provide a valid working email address.
Fees are:

$50 team entry fee

$150 bond – payable once only by all teams and held until the team leaves the competition.

$75 team sheet fee per game for all divisions except Premier, $90 team sheet fee per game for Premier division. We accept Teampay only for payments, which will be set up for each team prior to the season commencing

Games are played on Sunday nights from 5pm, last game at 9.30pm, and on Monday nights from 7.15pm, last game at 10.15pm start.
If you want to play but don’t have a team, justplay will find you one.
