What do we offer at the All Stars?

Beginner programs – range of programs for 3 – 10 years
Access for All Abilities – for children with special needs
J-League – new competition for 6 – 9 year olds on Saturdays
Junior domestic teams – 7 – 20 year olds on Saturdays (EDJBA)
Junior representative teams – 9 – 20 year olds on Friday nights (VJBL)

Development programs – Rising Stars, Basketball Academy, ….
Holiday programs – every school holidays
Senior competitions – Mens & Womens on Sundays, Mens and Mixed on Mondays
Senior representative – Youth (under 23) and Senior teams – Women and Men – in Big V competition

It’s amazing the many different roads our All Stars players travel as they get older. Some have played and coached sport at the highest levels, both here and overseas. Others have excelled in academia and business. And now a former All Stars player is having a run at local politics, with Hugh Morris-Dalton standing for election in the South Ward of the City of Darebin as an Independent.

Another small reminder that junior basketball can provide opportunities far beyond sport.

Registrations are now open for the Summer 2020-21 domestic season! The EDJBA is planning a November 28th start to competition subject to COVID regulations so we would like your registrations by Thursday 29th October so we can form teams and get everything organised in time for that planned date.

There have been some changes over our break and registrations are now through the new Basketball Victoria system PlayHQ. Information about how to register in the new system is in the link below. We are also moving to a new website. The information about the Summer season is on the new website and other information is being progressively updated. The new website address is

All families who had players registered for domestic in the Winter or last Summer, the 2020 rep season or first term beginners will be emailed details about registrations. If you rolled your domestic fees over from the Winter season, you will also be emailed a voucher which can be used at checkout to cover your payment.

As soon as COVID regulations allow, we are planning to organise outdoor activities to help players get back their fitness and skills prior to being allowed indoors. So watch out for further announcements regarding this.
