Long Weekend Update Please note there will be no

Long Weekend Update

Please note there will be no basketball activities from Saturday March 7 – Monday March 9 due to the long weekend.

This includes all programs and competitions, including:
• Development Programs (Aussie Hoops, J League, Little Stars & All Stars Academy)
• Junior Domestic games & training
• Senior Domestic games
• Representative training

All sessions and competitions will resume as normal from Tuesday March 10.

Enjoy the long weekend, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on court next week! 🏀

Thinking about getting your child into basketball this year.

The Victorian Government has opened a new round of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program with 40,000 vouchers available for families across the state.

Eligible families can receive up to $200 per child to help cover sport registration, uniforms and equipment.

If your child has been keen to try basketball, this is a good opportunity to get started.

Collingwood Basketball Association offers programs for all ages and experience levels across our competitions and development pathways.

Check your eligibility for the voucher and register your child for the upcoming season.

Come along on Sunday 1st March from 11.30am for our Big V Basketball season launch at Collingwood College stadium!

All four Big V teams (Youth Women, Youth Men, Senior Women and Senior Men) will be playing practice games. We would like to welcome all members, especially our junior players, to come and meet the players and join in the activities. Great prizes, including Molten basketballs. The canteen will be open all day. Collingwood jibbets for sale and Big V Season passes available to purchase.

The format of the day is:
11.45am Singlet presentation to Youth Women and Youth Men’s teams
12 noon Shooting contests. Big V players will rebound for juniors! Get a photo with your favourite player. Molten basketballs to be won.
12.30pm Youth Women and Youth Men practice games commence. Support the teams!
2.15pm Singlet presentation to Senior Women and Senior Men’s teams
2.30pm Shooting contests. Big V players will rebound for juniors! Get a photo with your favourite player. Molten basketballs to be won.
3.00pm Senior Women and Senior Men’s practice games commence. Support the teams!

All our girls teams will be playing at Collingwood College or Mullum Mullum. All games at Collingwood College will be girls games. We'll be there from 8am to 7.30pm so come and join us!
