Beginners Program at Collingwood Basketball for Term 3 in 2021 will be opening soon

All Beginner programs are run at Collingwood College, 10 McCutcheon Way, Collingwood.

To register your child/ren’s place use the ‘Register’ buttons below.

Little Stars is an introductory ‘play and learn’ basketball program for 3 and 4 year olds.  Program is targeted at pre-school / kindergarten aged children.  Little Stars is held over 8 weeks:

• Saturday from 10.00am-10.25am for 8 week 17 July to 4 September

 

Aussie Hoops is an introduction to basketball and all about learning to play in a fun and safe environment Program is targeted at primary school children aged 5-8 years.  Aussie Hoops is held over 8 weeks:

• Saturday 9.00am-9.55am or 1.10pm-2.05pm (17 July to 4 September);
• Tuesday 4.30pm – 5.25pm (20 July to 7 September)

 

Junior “J” League is Collingwood’s newest competition featuring lowered rings, coaching and a game like experience for players to get ready for domestic competition. Program targeted at primary school children prep to Grade 6.  J League is held over 8 weeks:

• Saturday 8.00am to 9.00am (17 July to 4 September)

 

Afternoon Mini Ball is skill development for children aged grade 3 to 6 for families requiring an afternoon timeslot on Saturday or Tuesday.  Mini Ball is held for 8 weeks:

• Saturday 12.10pm-1.05pm (17 July to 4 September);
• Tuesday 5.30pm – 6.25pm (20 July to 7 September)

 

Please note: the registration link for Aussie Hoops uses the SportsTG system as previously.  All other registration links use PlayHQ system.  If you are using PlayHQ for the first time you will need to set up a parent profile.  This will be linked to only one parent or guardian, using your email address as your login.  If possible we recommend that you use a personal email address not a work or school one.  Once this is set up you can then add children to your profile.
