C1 Referee Course
Love basketball? Want to stay involved in the game, build your confidence and earn money while supporting your local basketball community?
Collingwood Basketball Association is rebuilding its referee program and we’re looking for our next group of referees.
In partnership with Basketball Victoria and Banyule Basketball Club, the C1 Referee Course is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in becoming an accredited basketball referee. No previous refereeing experience is required.
Course Details
Workshop: Sunday 12 July, 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Venue: Collingwood Basketball Stadium
Practical Training: Participants will referee supervised domestic games immediately following the workshop before continuing their practical development over the following weeks.
Course Fee: $40 (payment details will be provided after registration)

Course Requirements
Participants will:
- Be aged 15 years of age or older
- Complete the online Basketball Australia C1 learning modules
- Attend the practical workshop on Sunday 12 July
- Participate in supervised on court training
- Complete their practical assessment when ready
- Availability for on court training on a Saturday and/or Sunday evening beginners progress
