Collingwood Basketball Association is excited to announce Athlead as our new exclusive apparel and merchandise partner, bringing a new focus on quality, service and a better apparel experience for the All Stars community.
Following a competitive tender process, Athlead has been selected to support CBA across playing and training apparel, referee and officials apparel, staff clothing, supporter merchandise and a broader range of branded products.
The appointment reflects what CBA heard clearly through the tender process. Members need quality products, reliable delivery, clear communication and responsive support. The partnership with Athlead has been built around delivering those outcomes.
Athlead is an apparel, merchandise and technology partner built specifically for sporting organisations. Its service model combines dedicated account management, Australian based customer support, established manufacturing capability and proactive production communication.
CBA General Manager Shaun McEachin said the member experience was central to the decision.
“We wanted a partner that could deliver quality products and then back them up with reliable, responsive service. Our members should have confidence in the whole experience, from placing an order through to receiving their apparel and getting support when they need it.”
A key part of that experience will be Athlead’s KitOS™ platform. The system supports individual and team ordering, secure online payments, live production updates, order tracking and automated communications. For members, this means clearer information and greater visibility over their orders. For CBA, it reduces manual administration and provides better oversight of the apparel program.
Athlead also brings experience working with sporting organisations across Australia, including a number of basketball associations. Its approach combines apparel supply with dedicated support and technology designed around the operational needs of community sport.
Athlead Director Sam Jensen said:
“We’re really excited to partner with Collingwood Basketball Association and support the organisation over the coming years. CBA has a strong basketball community and clear ambitions for its continued growth, and we’re looking forward to playing our part in that journey.
For us, the partnership is about more than supplying apparel. We’re looking forward to working closely with the CBA team to deliver a great experience for players, families, officials and supporters, while using our broader capability and technology to make the apparel and merchandise program easier to manage and create greater value for the Association.”
The partnership will be introduced progressively across CBA programs, with a focus on maintaining quality and service as the program grows. CBA and Athlead will work closely throughout implementation to monitor product quality, sizing consistency, ordering processes, delivery performance and customer support.
For CBA’s more than 2,000 participants, along with families, referees, coaches, volunteers and supporters, the aim is straightforward: a more reliable and easier way to access All Stars apparel and merchandise.
CBA is looking forward to welcoming Athlead to the All Stars community and beginning the partnership.
