Changing Lives Through Basketball: Support the Next Generation at Collingwood Basketball
Collingwood Basketball Association is calling on its community to help create more opportunities for children, young people and families across Melbourne’s inner north through a new tax deductible fundraising campaign with the Australian Sports Foundation.
Every donation will help strengthen the programs, people and resources that make basketball accessible, welcoming and inclusive for our community. From supporting participation opportunities and community programs to developing coaches, referees and volunteers, contributions will help ensure more people can experience the benefits of basketball.
As participation continues to grow across domestic competitions, representative pathways, community initiatives and development programs, so too does the need for investment in the people, equipment and opportunities that support our members and participants.
Collingwood Basketball Association General Manager Shaun McEachin said the campaign is an opportunity for the community to directly invest in the future of basketball while receiving a tax benefit before the end of the financial year.

The Australian Sports Foundation is Australia’s national sports fundraising body and the only organisation in Australia with Deductible Gift Recipient status for sport. Donations of $2 or more made through approved Australian Sports Foundation campaigns are tax deductible.
