It benefits everybody – the players, the club and the community – when the club and its coaches all expect and enforce these Collingwood All Stars minimum standards of behaviour and attitude:
Player gets a tech foul during a game (whether “justified” or not).
Consequence: Player gets subbed off immediately.
Rep player misses a scheduled training session (for any reason).
Consequence: Player is not in starting 5 at next game.
Rep player misses multiple training sessions without proper reason.
Consequence: TBC.
Player misses or is not ready for pick-up to get to training or a game.
Consequence: TBC.
Player uses words to others that could be offensive to anybody hearing them.
Consequence: Player is given one warning then if it happens again, a penalty (TBC).
Player uses physical or verbal aggression to anybody (whether officially reported or not).
Consequence: Player is benched by the coach for one or more whole games (TBC).
